Q&A team captain
A new NTDS is on its way again and your team mates are spamming you with questions. There's a separate Q&A for participants and for newbies that you can refer them to, but this one is custom made for you!
TC checklist
Inform...
- ...your members with an awesome message, so they're made aware and enthusiastic
- ...the beginners! NTDS is the perfect way to get acquainted with ballroom competitions.
- ...where members can find information
- ...who your members can contact (mostly you)
- ...how and by when members can sign up, and with which data
Actions
- Check the class and blinddate regulations, so you can help your members when they're unsure
Inform your members...
- ...whether or not they have been selected
- ...how and by when they need to pay

- Check whether they are still going and confirm them in the portal
- If a participant paid, mark them as such in the portal
- Pay the participation fee to the organisation

Inform your members...
- ...about the packing list
- that they should bring their own plates, cups and cutlery
- ...about general information in order to make the most of the NTDS
- ... about the volunteer shifts (and the possibility to do extra shifts)

- Assign the volunteer shifts
- Check if the participants with a sleeping spot still plan to use this (we have limited space). If not, edit their data in the portal
- Coordinate travel plans with your team
- (Have someone) think up a team presentation
- Plan a practice session for the team presentation
Inform...
- ...whether the member still has the right to 90% refund (only before January 26, 2024)
- ...that it may take until after the NTDS for the refund to be processed

Participants at this NTDS have an increased chance of being selected, if one or more of the following applies to them:
- Last NTDS/ETDS they were not selected (NOTE: they will need to sign up with the same email address)
- They join for the first time
- They join in the Beginners class

Which dances you do, depends on your class and the specific round. The overview of dances per class and round you will find here.
On Saturday, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be facilitated, and on Sunday breakfast and lunch will be facilitated.
